Emerging Leader Award This award category celebrates dynamic women who are early in their careers in tech and exhibit exceptional ambition, passion, and talent. These awardees are emerging leaders who are poised to make significant contributions to their field and are already making a remarkable impact on their journey to success. HISTORY The NM Women in Tech Awards were founded by the New Mexico Tech Council board members who recognized the need to focus on gender diversity in the tech industry. Since 2008, the NM Women in Tech Awards have recognized over 170 women who have shaped the tech landscape in the Land of Enchantment and highlighted the importance of encouraging women to pursue careers in tech. SCHOLARSHIP The Women in Tech Awards Scholarship is designed to create opportunities for young women to enter the tech pipeline or advance education and training.
