NMTC Women in Tech Peer Group presents

First, Do No Harm - A practical look at the intersection of AI, Healthcare, and Cybersecurity

Amid rapid-pace advancements in medicine and technology, healthcare organizations are confronted with pivotal decisions regarding AI integration. In this session, Cindi Carter, Global CISO-Americas will address the crucial considerations for the application of AI in healthcare and its potential to enhance health outcomes, secure patient data, as well as opportunities to improve operating efficiencies.

Learning objectives:

  • How our relationship with technology and healthcare has evolved, and how new relationships are being created with the advent of Generative AI
  • Tips that showcase the tangible benefits for healthcare, including workforce scalability and development
  • A practical checklist for maximizing AI value for optimal outcomes

The NMTC Women in Tech peer group is a supportive community specifically designed for women working in various technology-related fields to address gender diversity issues and empower women in the tech industry and create a space where women can connect, collaborate, and support each other in their career endeavors.  Members of these peer groups share experiences, insights, and challenges unique to women in technology, discussing topics like overcoming gender biases, achieving work-life balance, navigating career growth, and promoting inclusivity in the tech sector. Additionally, they may invite guest speakers, industry leaders, and mentors to provide guidance and inspiration to women pursuing careers in technology.
