Del Ameko is the City of Albuquerque’s Technical Services Transformation Manager who oversees all cybersecurity operations. He is a Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) who previously worked in the research space as a Senior IT Manager, also worked globally in specialty manufacturing as the Manager of Network Administration and Infrastructure Services and began his leadership career as an IT Manager for a regional New Mexico construction company. When Del is not at his day job, he likes trying new restaurants, working on cars, riding motorcycles, hiking, and watching movies with his kiddos. Del’s 24 years of leadership, professional, government, and cybersecurity experience provides an excellent perspective on a wide range of Information Technology and Cybersecurity challenges facing today’s organizations.
