The Catalyst Accelerator’s two-week Boot Camp is sponsored by the SBA’s SBIR/STTR office and United States Air Force Research Laboratory Space Vehicles Directorate. The Boot Camp is geared toward helping tech-based startups and small businesses that have not formerly worked with Government, particularly DoD, learn how to do so effectively.
The Boot Camp is a collaborative effort between the Hyperspace Challenge and Catalyst Accelerator, along with the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) and the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC).
Eligibility Requirements:
The Catalyst Boot Camp team is looking for small businesses and startups that would like to extend their market footprint to the Government, specifically to the Department of Defense. Eligibility requirements are listed below. Preference will be given to veteran- and women-, and minority-owned businesses or those located in Hub Zones (https://maps.certify.sba.gov/hubzone/map#center=39.828200,-98.579500&zoom=5).
The Catalyst Accelerator team is looking for small businesses or startups who have never done business with the Government but have a dual-use technology that could increase warfighter effectiveness. The Boot Camp is open to various technology verticals, but preference will be given to those listed below.

There is no cost to participating companies; however, attendees will have to pay for their own travel costs, lodging, and evening meals. A continental breakfast and catered lunch will be provided. Three scholarships of $1,000 each are available for companies in need of assistance with lodging costs.
