DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE TO REGISTER ON UNITED WAY'S SITE\n\nUnited Way's Young Leader Society would love to extend an invitation to our 'Mingle for a Mission' event on the evening of October 5th. Similar to HPS\, YLS focuses on opening up college and career possibilities to young people in our community. In line with that focus\, we'll be fundraising for the Finish Line Fund which supports students at CNM. Join us for a good cause along with great food and a fun evening!\nPlease join us for a lively evening with good people\, a fun venue\, great views\, and a worthy cause. This year\, we are raising funds for the Finish Line Fund with a raffle! The prizes include gift cards and merchandise from local vendors. The event is sponsored by M'Tucci's--they will provide delicious appetizers! \n\nAbout the Finish Line Fund\n\nIn 2021\, UWNCNM and the CNM Foundation established a collaboration to address the kind of low-level institutional debt which holds back promising\, committed students. Now known as the Finish Line Fund\, this fund supports students who hold $500 or less in debt at CNM\, prioritizing those with 75% progress toward a credential. By removing these obstacles\, the Finish Line Fund provides students a way back into college and career opportunities which otherwise seemed out of reach. For the past two years the Bank of Albuquerque has generously supported this fund\, and now we hope you'll join us to grow our support for the next generation of leaders so that they can cross the finish line!
