About the Speaker
Jessica DuVerneay is the Director of Design at RS21 and leads user experience research & design (UX), digital strategy, information architecture, information visualization, and user interface (UI) design. She joined RS21 in 2018.
Leading and supporting teams of creative UX & UI designers that turn research, business needs, and strategy into inspiring, insightful, intuitive, human centered tools is her favorite thing to do. She has 13+ years of experience in the field of design, lead the first World IA Day, co-chaired the 2015 IA Summit, and frequently speaks at national design and UX/IA conferences. When she’s not leading design, she has fun transforming start-ups into sustainable, healthy, happy, scalable, successful businesses.
She has a MSI from the University of Michigan and has previously held positions at One North Interactive (Chicago), The Understanding Group (Michigan), and NFL.com (Los Angeles). In her past professional lives, Jessica has been a teacher, artist, library manager, and a small business owner. She prides herself on being humorous, smart, organized, dependable, and down-to-earth.
