The HDI Rio Grande Chapter invites local Information Technology service and support professionals to join us for our June, 2017 meeting. Topic: CNM Technology Service and Training Center Tour & Demo The CNM Technology Service and Training Center just opened this April. The TSTC offers to CNM faculty, staff and students a sandbox for new technologies as well as IT walk up support and training services along with set curriculum for students to work as interns for credit. Apple will now be a part of that support structure, starting this winter. Speaker: Candi Borrecco - Director of IT Customer Support Services at Central New Mexico Community College. As Director of IT Customer Support Services, Candi Borrecco brings close to 20 years of experience to CNM. As a strong IT leader, Candi is an experienced Manager with a demonstrated history of operational experience in ITSM support methodology in higher education, healthcare and in the government sector IT Support Teams. She is skilled in Technical Support, ITIL, Business Process Improvement, System Administration, and IT Service Management. Candi is a strong engineering professional with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) focused in Management Information Systems from National American University-Albuquerque and is currently working on her Masters (MBA) due to complete next fall. Candi is able to bridge the gap between business and IT with her knowledge of business processes and IT processes.
